Here at AppLovin, we like to give back to our community any way we can. In the past, we’ve organized fundraisers for the devastating Northern California fires and worked with the Red Cross on a blood drive at the AppLovin office.
Today, we’re pleased to announce that AppLovin is joining the Red Cross Bay Area Ready 365 program, which provides immediate disaster relief in the Bay Area. Funds from Bay Area Ready 365 will help bolster the organization’s emergency response program and will support community preparedness with home-fire installations and workshops.
Bay Area Ready 365 helped the Red Cross respond to over 1,000 disasters in the Northern California Coastal Region alone in 2016. The Ready 365 Giving Program has also funded training for over 30,000 people in CPR, First Aid, proper use of defibrillators, caregiving, and water safety skills.
“Ready365 Member support is crucial in ensuring service delivery at a moment’s notice, and we are proud that AppLovin has stepped up to partner with us to provide hope to those when it is needed most,” said Emily Tzouanakis, Regional Director of Special Events at the American Red Cross.
In 2018, we plan on continuing to support our community and those in need with help from the American Red Cross.
