Each month as part of our spotlight series, we’ll feature one of our partner studios — providing a look behind the curtain into what working for one of our studios looks and feels like. Our first post focuses on Clipwire Games and the high-growth mobile gaming scene in Toronto.
Creators of Bingo Story (Android | iOS), the top-grossing game on the US and Canadian app stores by a Canadian developer, Clipwire Games is quickly making a name for itself in the city of Toronto. Under the leadership of CEO and co-founder Ritesh Khanna, formerly of Zynga, Clipwire Games was founded in 2008 and is a fast-growing and ambitious studio that excels in reimagining timeless games like bingo and solitaire.
With their sights firmly set on the future, they want to lead the charge for game development in Toronto by developing and producing more top hits. Ritesh has helped instill a winning mentality at Clipwire, something he believes is a key success factor in gaming while focusing on creating fun and engaging games that captivate and entertain players across the globe.
Off the back of huge success, Clipwire Games are in a period of growth and are hiring across multiple key areas of the business, including artists, developers, and data scientists.

Ritesh is a Toronto native and knew he wanted to plant his company’s roots in the city he calls home. Not just home to renowned film festivals, Toronto is becoming an up-and-coming hub for gaming studios and developers alike. A thriving multicultural city, Toronto has managed to grow and develop without losing its sense of community. Boasting an incredible food and art scene, the city is home to one of the longest urban waterfronts in the world and offers plenty of bike parks and outdoor music venues.
“Toronto is a place without judgments, which is exactly the kind of people we look to hire at Clipwire,” said Head of Studio, Mary-Kaye Fraser. “My colleagues are not only looking to build something awesome — but to learn and collaborate along the way.”
Located in the heart of downtown, Clipwire is easily accessible by public transit and located near St. Lawrence Market, the Harbourfront, and The Toronto Eaton Centre.
